The Q&A Archives: Transplanting Iris Crowns

Question: I was wanting to transplant some Iris Crowns and need to know when is the best time to do it ?

Answer: Carl,

Fall is the best time. It is getting pretty late now that warm weather has arrived. While you might be able to keep them alive through the ordeal, it would really set them back a lot. If possible wait until late October or November.
