To Whom it may concern, I am a horticulture student at the University of Georgia and I am putting together a five year plan for a mock nursery in which I grow and sell Gingko biloba. I was just wondering if someone could give me a fertilizing, pruning, potting, and selling plan for such a nursery. I will be doing container grown Ginkgos, and it will be on a ten acre lot. Thank you |
Kyle, That is more indepth of a question than I can do justice to in a brief reply. Let me refer you to some resources that should get you well on your way. First I'd contact the Univ. of Georgia Extension Hort Dept Extension Specialists for ornamentals. They probably have some similar plans in print to guide you or can refer you to someone who does, perhaps the Georgia nursery association or a similar group. The following web site should also be very helpful: http://pubs.caes.uga.edu/caesp... http://pubs.caes.uga.edu/caesp... http://pubs.caes.uga.edu/caesp... http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pu... Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
