| I have an area along back wall of our house that are floor to ceiling windows that we are planting some dwarf New Zealand flax plants. I'm looking for a ground cover that would also stay low and look good with the flax plants. We have a tropical garden. During the summer the area will get hot afternoon sun. |
| Have you considered growing Gazinia or Aptenia? Gazinia is available in red, orange or yellow flowers and is low growing; Aptenia has succulent leaves and grows only 10" tall. It's available in either red or white flowering varieties. Either would complement your New Zealand flax. |
