| I recently purchased a Hardy Kiwi Vine (Self Fertile Female). I was just wondering when is the best time to prune this vine so that I don't run the risk of pruning at the wrong time and it won't bloom and produce fruit. |
| Hardy kiwis are pruned at several times a year, depending what you are trying to accomplish. In winter, you would do pruning to select and train the main framework of vines. In summer, you prune to thin the plant and control over-vigorous growth.
