| I have multipule deodar cedars that just do not do good. What nutrients do they like and how often? How much H20 do they need? Is it true they do not like there needles wet? |
| Deodar cedars are rather slow growing trees and will perform in both full sun and partly shady sites. They like lots of water but the soil needs to be fast draining and they generally do not need to be fed. If your trees look unhappy you can use fertilizer spikes (specificially for conifers) around the root system of your trees. Cedars don't mind water on the foliage and seem to grow well when rain and coastal humidity is high. Hope your cedars perk up soon! |
