Question: When is it safe to put a geranium outside that has been indoors all winter. I live in Baltimore and our weather is kind of unpredicable here.


Answer: Lois,

When the night temps don't drop below about the lower to mid 50's you can move it outside. If you get a cold snap after that just move it in for the night. Don't put it in full sun suddenly but move it to more light gradually to avoid sunburn.
