The Q&A Archives: planting weeping willow tree

Question: i live in florida and is a weeping willow a good tree to plant in my yard of full sun also i back up to a nature preserve

Answer: Shelly,

It is a fast growing tree with very interesting form. However Weeping Willows don't tend to be very long lived and so should not be a primary tree for your landscape but rather an extra that you include for added interest.
