I have a white (double)flowering dogwood tree that is about 40-50 years old that may die this season. I have been unsuccessful trying to locate a replacement. I don't know its name or where to find one. Any help would be appreciated.

If your local nurseries don't have it, you will probably need to try mail order. Greer Gardens is offering a double white flowered Cornus florida called "Alba Plena" in their catalog, for example.

Some other catalogs to check with might include

(These are listed in no particular order.)

Forestfarm

Greer Gardens

Fairweather Gardens

Heronswood

Best of luck with your search, I am so sorry about your tree.
