The Q&A Archives: Golden Berckman Arborvitae

Question: How many inches per year doest the Golden Berckman Arborvitae grow?

What is its maximun height and width?

Answer: Pablo,

I can't give you an accurate growth rate in inches per year for this slow growing arborvitae selection. Growth rate is strongly affected by cultural conditions such as soil moisture, fertilizer, soil depth and type, amount of sunlight, etc. As a very general guide consider it growing about 6-8 inches the first year and maybe a foot a year thereafter.
