I would like to plant flowering annuals in two pots outside my front door. That area gets a lot of afternoon sun. Thank you.

Annuals for a container in a sunny location in summer include Cockscomb, Cosmos, Gomphrena, Marigold, Salvia 'Mystic Spires', Narrowleaf Zinnia (Zinnia angustifolia), Fanflower (Scaevola), Periwinkles, dwarf varieties of garden zinnia and ornamental sweet potato.
