Caruba Black is frost tender and should be kept in a pot and given filtered sunlight outdoors during the summer months, then moved indoors when the weather begins to cool in the fall. Keep soil moist and add a controlled release fertilizer (such as Miracle Gro) to the potting mix each spring, in amounts as recommended on the label. Remove dead or damaged leaves as required. Best wishes with your new plant!
