I am looking for a evergreen shrub to make a nice hedge/screen around my front yard, and I LOVED the Victoria California lilac, but I'm afraid that will not work in Greenville SC. What you think?
If for some reason that not work, could you recomend something similar please?
Thanks a lot.

The shrub should make a nice hedge for your landscape. Ceanothus 'Victoria' is hardy in USDA zones 6-9 and Greenville is in zone 7. It will grow well in full sunshine, in well draining soils. This plant is one of the easiest and most reliable Ceanothus for the average gardener. It produces masses of bluish purple flowers in late spring. Enjoy!
