I have a bed with Yesterday,Today, and Tomorrows. I would like a low growing flowering border perennial to front this bed. What would you suggest. I was thinking maybe dianthus or candytufts.

You might consider dianthus, salvia, celosia, zinnia, or sanvitalia for a low border. Dianthus is perennial; the rest are annuals. All would make attractive companions to your existing plants.
