I wanted some blue set in a green border that has been established for 20 years. I decided to use Witchita's and came across the Monrovia |
Moderate grower might be a foot or so a year. It depends on the growing conditions where it is planted and also on the weather each year. As far as fertilizer, junipers do not need a rich soil. They do fine in average soil so you should not need to fertilize much if at all. You could use a general purpose granular or slow release such as 10-10-10 per the label directions. Also, a top dressing of compost each spring along with using an organic mulch year round will help feed the soil gradually over time. Make sure it will receive full sun, good air circulation and is planted in a well drained soil for best results. Enjoy your Moonglow's! |
