I had a chain link fence installed last summer, and would like to plant a climbing vine with flowers that would attract butterflies. Any suggestions?

I would go for a Silver Lace vine (Polygonum aubertii, also called Silver Fleece) or a variety of Honeysuckle (Lonicera). Three good varieties of honeysuckle are Lonicera japonica 'Halliana' (my favorite), Lonicera sempervirens 'Alabama Crimson', and Lonicera sempervirens 'John Clayton'. I would steer clear of the "Trumpet Vines" (Campsis), it is difficult to get them to flower.
