The Q&A Archives: Azalea mislabeling....

Question: this is a e-mail which I have written and sent to Craven Pottery in Commerce, GA concerning 5 mislabeled azaleas that I purchased from the company. These plants all had the Monrovia GOLDEN LIGHTS AZALEA tag on them.

Sirs: on March 16, 2006, I purchased 5 azaleas from your store.
the azaleas that I purchased from you were labeled (labels I have kept) and said to be
MONROVIA. .. The azaleas have now all been in bloom and are not of the variety that I purchased, they have a large and I will admit beautiful bloom that is a white with slight pink....I am very disappointed in this purchase and altho' you do no refunds I think you should know of this mistake, as I took great care in looking for the GOLDEN LIGHTS AZALEA. I hope to hear from you concerning this purchase.
