WILL THE FURMANS RED AUTUMN SAGE GROW IN SOUTHEAST WI [ THE MIWAUKEE WI AREA] I AM NOT SURE IF IT WILL SURVIVE THE WI WINTERS. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

I am so glad you asked. According to your zip code you are gardening in winter hardiness zone 5B, or the warmer part of zone 5. This particular salvia (Salvia greggii 'Furman's Red') would definitely not survive your winters, it is only considered hardy in zones 8 and 9 -- think Florida and southern California! In your area you could grow it as an annual, or possibly try to carry it over the winter as a container plant although that would be difficult.
