I planted a Kwanzan Flowering Cherry in Oct 2005 and another in April 2006. They appeared to have buds but have never had any leaves or blooms. They have been kept watered according to instructions. They do not appear dead but no growth. Help!

If other cherry trees in your area have leafed out, there is most likely a problem. It is possible they have been over or underwatered, are in a very cold microclimate, or have not rooted properly. Since these are new trees, I would suggest you contact your retailer for assistance especially if there is a warranty involved.
