I acquired today a fig tree that came from your nursery. My neighbor told me that I need two fig trees in order for it to bear fruit. Is that true, and if it is true, how do I know the sex of the plant? Your label does not specify details.
Thank you,
Perico

Perico,

Your figs won't require a pollinator variety as they develop fruit without pollination. The Smyrna and San Pedro types are the only types that require pollination.
