The Q&A Archives: azalea flower type

Question: When looking for a specific azalea(Karen), it described the flower as hose in hose. What does this mean?

Answer: If you look straight into the flower, it seems like there is one flower set inside another flower. The extra petals give sort of a double effect. It's pretty and often it makes the color seem richer, I think.
