I planted a lilly of the nile recently. It had one bloom when I purchased it. I had read where yall said to snip right under the bloom when it started to die. It looks bad with just a green stem sticking up high. Will I receive another bloom this spring, or is that it? |
Jackie, That plant will generally continue to rebloom sending up additional stalks. However since it is a new plant it may focus more on getting established this year and not bloom as much as it will in future years. You can cut the old bloom stem back to the base. It will not rebloom. |
