I'm growing an Heirloom garden. Can I grow cucumbers, squash, watermelon, and pumpkins all in the same bed, without them crossing? |
You may certainly grow all of the plants next to each other without any effect on this year's crop. However, any seeds produced by the fruits you harvest will not grow true to type next season, because of cross-pollination. So start the next year with brand new seeds rather than saving your seeds and planting them. |
