My yellow carpet rose planted last year did beautifully. However, this year it is not growing. The plant is very small with only a small cluster of leaves. The other carpet roses planted at the same time are already 2 feet high. What do you think the problem could be. I've fed it rose food and made sure it had plenty of water. Thnaks for your help.

I wouldn't give up on the carpet rose just yet - some plants take longer to establish than others and your carpet rose may be putting its energy into establishing a healthy root system rather than producing top growth. I'd give it a little more time. Feeding will help it grow, as will adequate water during the growing season. You can prune it back in early summer to encourage additional branching. Best wishes with your landscape!
