Azaleas grown for landscapes flower in spring (usually around Mother's Day). For your wedding design, you'll need to contact a florist - azaleas can be forced to flower at any time of the year when grown under greenhouse conditions where light, temperature and fertilizer are carefully monitored. A florist can special order azaleas for you that are in bloom the last week of September. Best wishes with your project!
