| I have 2 flowers containers on my deck that I had planted roses in the containers, but the roses got a disease... how do I clean the containers so I can plant other flowers in the container? Thanks. |
| Christine, The disease won't move to other plants unless it is one of a very few root rots. To be extra sure you can wash all soil off the container and then place it in a large container such as a trash can with 1 part bleach and 9 parts water. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then drain it and let it dry. It will then be ready to plant and any disease organisms will be killed. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
