| I live in Southern Louisiana. I am looking for a tall slender shrubs to use for landscaping down the side of my house. I have a run of about fifty feet by about three feet down the side of my house within which to plant there?fore I need something with a narrow growth pattern. My house is very high and therefore need something that will grow pretty tall. That side of the house gets a fair amount of shade in the A.M., and is fairly sunny with spotty shade in the P.M. What do you suggest? |
| Londa, Those specifications don't leave many choices for south Louisiana. My suggestion is to try the tall upright yaupon called 'Will Fleming' (not a Monrovia plant). But if the shade is considerable you might not be happy with the plants performance. The other option would be to construct a trellis and plant an evergreen shade loving vine on it.
