The Q&A Archives: broken limb

Question: i have a broken limb on my san jose juniper, it is not cut all the way thru, is there any way that i can save that limb

thank you

Answer: Amy,

You can try to move it back up into place and tie it off to a trunk or branch above it in a couple of angles so it doesn't move back and forth. There is a good chance it will heal if the original damage was not too severe. When you move it up into place do so slowly to avoid breaking it as those branches on junipers can be brittle.
