I have a small front yard but was wondering if it would be ok to plant a miss canada lilac bush on my front lawn or would it get too big? I have a big back yard but want to show it in the front.

This plant Syringa x prestoniae 'Miss Canada' can grow up to twelve feet tall and wide so it is not suited to a small space. It also needs full sun all day long to bloom its best. If you do not really have space for it in front it would be better to plant it in the back yard. Otherwise you will have to prune constantly and the plant will never reach its full size and potential.
