regenrating Alberta spruce - Knowledgebase Question

s there anyway to encourage the dwarf Alberta Spruce I have that has totally browned out on one side to regenerate?
we remodled our home and had to move out and the poor thaing sat facing one diection for two growing seasons.

Unfortunately it may not regenerate. Spruces do not regrow on old wood. You can trim off any dead twigs and wait and see, but I would not be too hopeful. Also, keep an eye on it in case it begins to brown more, it may be due to mites which become active in hot weather. If you see it beginning to brown, contact your county extension for a precise diagnosis and the most up to date recommendations on how to treat it. Good luck with your little tree.
