Start by amending your garden soil with lots of organic matter like compost or aged manure. Dig it in to at least 12 inches. Then plant the seeds of a hybrid tomato that has the potential to grow really big fruits - like Burpee's "Supersteak"or "Delicious". In your area you can plant your seeds in early March. As the plants grow, add lots of water, making sure that it penetrates all the way down to the entire root area. If your garden gets full sunshine, and you water when the top inch of soil dries out, you should be able to harvest super sized tomatoes.
