| Yellowing leaves can indicate poorly draining soil or lack of nutrients. Impatiens appreciate moist, well draining soils. If your soil does not drain quickly the plants can develop root rot which will cause yellow leaves. If the soil does drain well and you're not overwatering, try feeding your impatiens. I use a half-strength dilution of a liquid fertilizer (such as Miracle Gro) and feed my impatiens every 2-3 weeks. This provides a steady diet of nutrients without the worry of feeding too much at one time. Best wishes with your impatiens! |
