I bought and planted one of your vine lilacs last year. It hasn't grown, hasn't bloomed, and the leaves are turning yellow. What's wrong and how can I fix it?

Lilac Vine (Hardenbergia violacea) is from Australia. It will grow in almost any soil type and needs moderate water throughout the year. It's at its best when things are hot and dry and it needs some afternoons shade. It might be that your Bay Area garden just isn't hot enough for it yet. Give it some time - as summer progresses it should grow and flower for you.
