I have several dwarf yaupon hollies planted in my front bed. They are all very small, about 6 inches in diameter. They have been planted for about 3 months and have not grown a bit. Any suggestions and speeding up their growth?

Ashley,

Moderate soil moisture, moderate fertilizing (Miracle Gro at the label rate works well), and good sunlight. In shade there is not the amount of light needed to make the carbohydrates that support good strong growth. If the plants have been planted in the past few months they are probably trying to establish a better root system and should be able to produce more top growth later in the season and especially next spring and summer.
