The Q&A Archives: Keeping rabbits from eatting my garden

Question: How do I keep my bunny friends from eatting my annuals. Tried moth balls?

Answer: The best way to protect a garden from rabbits is to fence them out with a wire mesh fence. If this is not practical, you might have success using one of the spray on repellents sold at garden centers. Be sure to read and follow the label directions, and reapply as indicated. Mothballs are not recommended; also, they can be dangerous to children and pets.
