I have several Lambs Ear planted in my garden. Recently I have noticed tall stalks coming out of the center of each plant. Should these be cut off or left alone?

Thanks,

donna

These are the bloom stalks, eventually you will see pink flowers at the top of each stalk. Some people like the flowers and allow them to bloom, then trim the stalks off short once the flowers fade. Other people do not like the flowers that much and so cut them before the flowers open. It is up to you which one you prefer.
