Rooting a "Crimson Queen" Japanese Maple, from broken branch - Knowledgebase Question

A large branch, (from my small Japanese Maple) broke off due to weight, and I was wondering if you can make that piece make roota and pot in new soil to make a new tree....?

You probably won't have succes in rooting a large branch, but you may be able to cut the tip off (4-6"), strip the lower leaves, dip the cut end in rooting hormone and set it in some moistened potting soil. With any luck, it will develop roots. Best wishes!
