After the knock out rose petals start to fall do I dead head the blooms all season, and do I take part of the stem with it?

Knock Out is a special low maintenance rose and one of its features is that it does not require deadheading to continue blooming. If you want to deadhead it, you may. Remove the flower and the bit of stem immediately under it. Cut just above the top leaf so you do not have ugly stubs sticking out -- but you keep all of the leaves on the bush. If you deadhead you will remove the colorful hips that decorate the plant in the fall and winter. Enjoy your Knock Out rose!
