The Q&A Archives: pampas grass

Question: I have a pampas grass that I purchased about 3 years ago. the grass is doing really well and is over 5 feet tall, but we have not hade any plumes off it. what can we do?

Answer: Pampas grass blooms best when exposed to full sunshine. If yours isn't getting enough sun, it will be reluctant to bloom. It's also important to withhold fertilizer. If given too much nitrogen, pampas won't bloom but will put all of its efforts into growing more foliage. Hope this information helps!
