How long can I leave a baby sago palm in a container? I cannot decide yet where to put the tree in my yard because I don't know how tall and wide it will grow.

Sago palms are very slow growing and will adapt to growing in a container without problem. Grown in full sun in well draining soil and watered on a regular basis, your sago can eventually reach 10' in height and about 4' in width in your gardening region. Best wishes with your Sago!
