Does translucent greenhouse fiberglass roofing filter wavelengths of light useful to 4 inch pots of herbs that 6 mil plastic used with shadecloth does not?

In general, poly covers allow transmission of more of the light spectrum than fiberglass. That's one piece of the equation - now you have to weigh the other pros and cons of poly and fiberglass, and see which covering is best for your situation.
