When plants come from most nurseries, they've been fed for weeks with an almost constant supply of fertilizer. That's how growers can assure that the blooms of annuals will be there at exactly the right time before shipping to retailers. (It's no accident that you see the sea of color at the nursery ...). So, when you bring 'em home and ask them to tolerate more normal conditions, it does take them a little while to get back to a more normal state of bloom cycle. I'm sure if your daisies get enough moisture and sun, you'll see buds and blooms soon.
