As I planted some water lilies, i dug up the gravel at the bottom of my pond. And I noticed that there were a lot of worms. Most of them look like earthworms to me, although a couple of them were thicker than a pencil and almost twice as long. Is it a bad sign? Should I try and get rid of them? and how? |
You might be surprised how many animals you can find in a pond. I don't think the worms you've found are bad - after all, they are just living in the gravel, but if you'd like to try to identify them, here's a website with tons of information on pond life: http://www.microscopy-uk.org.u... |
