Can Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' take a half day of shade?
Would it loose color? Flop?

The foliage will appear healthy, but the coloration will be muted if planted in a partially sunny site. If the site provides afternoon sun, the plumes should develop normally; if the site has only morning sun, it may not produce plumes. Hope you can find a sunny site for this lovely plant!
