My heath are well established and outgrowing the space. When and if can they be pruned?
Also they didn't bloom very much this last time. How can I increase the blooms for next season?
Thank you for your help.

Pruning should help rejuvenate the plant and encourage vigorous new growth with lots of blooms. The time to prune is in very early spring when you can cut them back quite hard. This will also help keep them more compact.
