| If your plants get insufficient light, if the soil is too rich, or if you fail to pinch them back, they will get leggy. Make sure they are in full sunshine; don't fertilize; and pinch them back to about 6" in mid-June. They should respond by producing new shoots and becoming bushy. Don't pinch them back after the first week of July or they won't have time to produce flower heads in late summer. Best wishes with your garden! |
