| Picea omorika 'Nana' is a dwarf Serbian Spruce; an evergreen shrub which becomes a low globe-like mound. Glossy blue-green needles have prominent white bands on the undersides. It's a slow grower to 7 to 9 feet high and as wide. It's hardy to -50?'s and grows best in full sun. I think it will become much larger than you want. You might be happier with NEST SPRUCE (Picea abies 'Nidiformis'). This versatile, dwarf form is an excellent evergreen for border or accent. Tight, many layered branches create nest-like compact form, requires little maintenance. Very hardy and wind resistant. Full sun. Slow grower to 3 to 5 feet tall, 4 to 6 feet wide.
