| It can take newly planted shrubs a few weeks to acclimate to their new surroundings so the wilting/drooping foliage may simply be an indication of this adjustment. Metrosideros likes well-draining soils so don't over water; one deep soaking per week is all your plants will require. If you're watering more often, you may be suffocating the roots by driving out the oxygen.
