Are the results of growing potatoes in a potato bin as good as planting in rows? My garden space is limited, so I'm willing to try something new.

You can grow potatoes in a stack of old tires, if you want. The nice thing about bins or stacks of tires is that the heat is retained and that helps the potato plants grow. The containers also help soil moisture remain constant, which is important to potatoes. They are definately space-saving ideas, so go ahead and give them a try.
