| I have six redwoods (blue aptos), five are doing great. The one has not done so well. It has turned gray, the new growth is mainly on the trunk, with little on the tips of the branches.And it just kind of sulks. Thanks. |
| Well, that doesn't sound good at all! I'd dig the plant up and check the root system to make sure it's healthy. If it's in a fast-draining spot and the roots look good, replant and check the branches for insect or disease problems. Gray growth usually means dieback and without seeing the problem, I can't trace it back to the cause. Wish I could offer more! |
