We are seaching for a vine that will grow in shade. We live at the beach 1/2 block from the water. The vine would grow between two houses and the houses block any direct sea breezes. Hopefully you have an answer.
Thank you for your time.

Because of the lack of direct sunshine your choices are limited, but Trachelospermum jasminoides (Star Jasmine) and Parthenocissus (Virginia Creeper) will work in the area you describe. Star Jasmine will bloom most reliably and is evergreen. Virginia Creeper is deciduous. Best wishes with your new vine!
